Ganpat Parsekar College of Library, Harmal Goa organized a talk on the topic of reading skills for the fourth-year students. The event was held to commemorate the W.N. Dandekar Birth Centenary Program. The speakers for the talk were Shri Prashant Divekar and Shri Omkar Banait, both from Jnana Prabhodini Educational Activity Research Centre, Pune.
The event began with a warm welcome from the Principal, Shri Udesh Natekar, who addressed the audience and highlighted the importance of such programs for the overall development of students. The Librarian, Pramod Kerkar, and Co-ordinator, Dr. Durgesh Majik, were also present on the dais.
The event was inaugurated with the introduction of the guests by the library member, Suraj Parmekar, who also welcomed them with a bouquet of flowers. Shri Prashant Divekar and Shri Omkar Banait then took to the stage to speak about reading skills and its importance in today's world.
The speakers engaged the audience with their insights and practical tips on how to improve reading skills. They emphasized the role of reading in enhancing one's knowledge and skills, which is crucial for success in today's competitive world.
Dr. Durgesh Majik proposed the vote of thanks, expressing his gratitude to the speakers and the organizers for their efforts in making the event a success. The event was well-received by the audience, and it was an enriching experience for the students.
