To create awareness about importance of Science 
Department of Physics and Department of Mathematics of P.E.S’s Ravi Naik College of Arts and Science, Farmagudi, Ponda-Goa organized a STATE LEVEL INTERCOLLEGIATE SHORT TERM MAKING COMPETITION on topics (1) Artificial Intelligence and us (2) finding faith in science (3) it isn’t Rocket Science (4) The man who invented zero. For the competition 15 participants of all colleges across Goa from all the disciplines participated for competition. 
Our two teams consisting six students from(S.Y.B.Sc.B.Ed) secured 1st Place and (F.Y.B.Sc.B.Ed) secured 3rd Place for the theme “Finding faith in Science” & “It isn’t Rocket Science”. Students received Trophies and certificates on 11th March 2023.

  Book talk at Ganpat Parsekar College

Department of Library of Ganpat Parsekar College of Education Harmal Goa organised a book talk on the book title “Bharat Maza Desh Ahe" written by Mr Pramod Ganpule, the programme began with a floral welcome to the speaker Mr Milind Ganpule and  Principal  Shri. Udesh Natekar by the Librarian Mr. Pramod Kerkar.
Principal Mr Udeh Natekar welcomed the guest and congratulate the library committee for organising such a book talk for the students he emphasised that such talks are important to know the different books without reading he also urges students to develop their reading habits to acquire knowledge.
The speaker Mr Milind Ganpule, a teacher of Government High School Dadachiwadi, Dhargal highlighted the importance of the Indian pledge and why to take the oath. Meaning of the oath and spoken detailed about the book he also stresses why the author has written on this topic and the need of writing a such book. the programme compared and introduction of guests done by miss Rahi Padloskar and Miss Pallavi Ghadi proposed a vote of thanks.

Ganpat Parsekar College of Library, Harmal Goa organized a talk on the topic of reading skills for the fourth-year students. The event was held to commemorate the W.N. Dandekar Birth Centenary Program. The speakers for the talk were Shri Prashant Divekar and Shri Omkar Banait, both from Jnana Prabhodini Educational Activity Research Centre, Pune.
The event began with a warm welcome from the Principal, Shri Udesh Natekar, who addressed the audience and highlighted the importance of such programs for the overall development of students. The Librarian, Pramod Kerkar, and Co-ordinator, Dr. Durgesh Majik, were also present on the dais.
The event was inaugurated with the introduction of the guests by the library member, Suraj Parmekar, who also welcomed them with a bouquet of flowers. Shri Prashant Divekar and Shri Omkar Banait then took to the stage to speak about reading skills and its importance in today's world.
The speakers engaged the audience with their insights and practical tips on how to improve reading skills. They emphasized the role of reading in enhancing one's knowledge and skills, which is crucial for success in today's competitive world.
Dr. Durgesh Majik proposed the vote of thanks, expressing his gratitude to the speakers and the organizers for their efforts in making the event a success. The event was well-received by the audience, and it was an enriching experience for the students.
The event was a testament to the college's commitment to providing its students with the necessary skills and knowledge to succeed in their future endeavors.
