The Department of English, in collaboration with

 the Department of History of Harmal Panchakroshi Shikshan Sanstha's Ganpat Parsekar College of Education, 

organised "Food O' Goanna," the food festival. The department of English organised it as the ISA of the paper "Spoken English". The communication skills of the students improve with the enhancement of such interesting and unique activities.

 Also, the Department of History organised it as an activity under the paper "Goan Heritage" to reinforce the food traditions of Goa.

The Department of English of

 Harmal Panchakroshi Shikshan Sanstha's

 Ganpat Parsekar College of Education showed the movie, "The Guide" to the F. Y. B. A. B. Ed English students. The movie was shown as they studied the novel, The Guide by R. K. Narayan in the paper, Introduction to Fiction. 

The presentation of the movie provided the students with a comparative analysis of the text and the movie.  

Kudos to our Fourth Year B.Sc. B.Ed. students, Preeti Simoes, Shreya Dessai & Pritesh Patil. 

Each of them presented a research paper at the National Conference on "NEP 2020 and Effective Implementation: Preparing Teachers for Next Generation Learners" at Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune. Their research papers were highly appreciated. 

They were guided and accompanied by the Educators from the Department of Education.

Happy to inform everyone that Our Students Ms Anishka Narvekar and Ms Pritika Naik (S.Y.B.Sc.B.Ed) won first place in Intercollegiate Poster Competition on the theme “ Evolution of Mathematics”organized by Research & Development Cell in collaboration with the Department of Mathematics, Govt. college Khandola.😊

Joie De Vivre: Intra-Collegiate Literary Fest

Department of English of Harmal Panchakroshi Shikshan Sanstha's Ganpat Parsekar College of Education organised the intra-collegiate literary fest, "Joie de Vivre" on 6th February 2023. The literary fest was a grand success and highlighted the theme of "celebrating literature through cinema". The literary fest included several competitions focussing on the student's extensive personality development.
